Wholly owned Ghanaian Company With the aim of Operating from the downstream through to the upstream to be vertically well integrated.

GEO Petroleum is a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of Ghana to operate in the following areas: Retail and Marketing of Petroleum products; Storage and Bulk Distribution of Petroleum Products International Trading in Oil and Gas and Consultancy Services in the Oil and Gas Industry The companys long-term strategic objective is to operate in all the sectors of the Oil and Gas industry, starting from the downstream and expand through to the upstream to harness the opportunities available in all the sectors for its stakeholders and grow to become a force in the Global Oil and Gas Industry. The company is currently actively operating in the Downstream sector into trading activities such as acting as mandate to International Oil Trading Companies to serve as broker between these companies and the Bulk Distribution Companies (BDCs) in Ghana and Africa as a whole for the supply of Petroleum products. We are also engaged in helping distressed Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) secure products from BDCs at terms favorable to both parties.

Our Services

GEO Petroleum supplies best quality petroleum products to its valued customers. The company is committed to regulatory requirement and safety compliance with respect to the products we sell to our clients. Currently the company is engaged in the trading of Gasoil and Gasoline in the Ghanaian market and hope to add Aviation fuel (ATK) and Lubricants to our products line. We work closely with suppliers, customers and trade associates in our operating areas in order to ensure that our product safety procedures are up to date and that products supplied at all times meet the regulatory and acceptable standards. The company focuses on four (4) products namely

Our Products

Gasoline (Mogas, premium Motor spirit, petrol, super),
Gasoil (Diesel, Automotive Gas Oil), Dual purpose Kerosene
(DPK) and liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

Marketing Strategy

The company has segmented its market largely into Three main areas, one focus solely on importation, storage and distribution of refined petroleum products and the other two segment for the marketing of the products at the OMC level i.e., the supply to Business to Business (B2B) customers and the Retailing of products at the fuel stations;

Trading With BDCs AND OMCs

This marketing segment focuses on the trading arm of the business, the importation, storage and distribution of refined petroleum products to the Bulk distribution companies (BDCs) and Oil Marketing companies (OMCs) with a partnered BDC. Under this strategy product are source at a very competitive prices and landed in tank to be sold to the clients mentioned above at very competitive prices

Business to Business Market (B2B)

The core focus of this segment is to supply refined petroleum products to meeting the needs of Industries, the Telecommunication companies, the mining sector and commerce in general. This category of consumers buys in bulk to power their plants. GEO Petroleum has good working relationship with identifiable customers in the Ghanaian market to ensure patronage of our products in this market segment.

Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality (EHSSQ)

GEO Petroleum is committed to sound environment, health, safety, security and quality (EHSSQ) practices in all aspect of our business. This is to prevent injury and protect all employees and subcontractors from work hazards and occupational diseases in the execution of their responsibilities. Our policy on EHSSQ states: “GEO Petroleum is responsible for protecting the Environment, Health, Safety and security of her workers, Customers, Contractors and the community in which she does business according to this policy”.

This policy is applicable to all employees, contractors, visitors and customers. All incidents, near misses and potential hazards that might lead to injuries to personnel or damage to equipment and the environment must be reported immediately to the nearest EHSSQ representative. The detailed of this policy is found in our corporate Environmental policy document.

Corporate Social Responsibility Sponsored Events

Enlisting in worthwhile Corporate Socially responsible projects; and also offering Sponsorship within communities is another way that we invest in, and enriches our communities and builds relationship with both direct and in-direct customers. Through our involvement with different events and activities we aim to develop long-term relationships with our partners and make a practical contribution so that the benefits are maximized for all concerned.

We focus on clearly defined business-to-business activity with an entertainment value for core customers. As a good corporate citizen, we owe it a duty to development and invest in the communities we operate in to improve the living standard of the people ling in these communities. The company has developed a standard corporate policy document (SCPD) for the rollout of our corporate social responsibility to the society for the mutual benefit of all involved.
